Murph & Murph Prep Course

Coming soon to Slaton Kinesiology!

We will be taking on one of the most legendary Hero Workouts in Functional Fitness.
"Murph"

(1 mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats, 1 mile run - in a weighted vest if you have one.)

Murph is on a ton of people's list of workouts they look to complete as prescribed. We will be hosting the workout this year, and will be having a preparatory course to prepare you for it.

Starting March 30th & continuing on April 6th, April 20th, and May 4th  from 10-11:30 am we will have the Murph Prep course. This course will be focused on improving your ability on pull ups, push ups & squats. We will be taking a scientific approach to these movements and focusing on building them up for the finally on May 11th at 9 am when we do Murph at the facility.

Things to consider:

- Completing Murph is optional. If you just want to get better at the listed movements but have no desire to complete the workout, you may still sign up.

- At this point, you must register for the preparatory course if you wish to participate in the workout. If we have people who wish to participate in the workout, but are unable to attend the course we may make an amendment to this requirement. Participation is strongly encouraged because this will be preparing your body for the workout and will help to prevent any over use injuries.

- This course will be open to the public, if you're not a member at Slaton Kinesiology, you're still invited to join us!

- The cost will be $99 and will include a T-Shirt.

    SK Open Team Competition Team Divisions will be either RX or Scaled 2 Athletes per team. Can be comprised of any combination of males and or females.
